  • Overview

    Join our growing team and use your web development skills to develop and maintain applications. This is a challenging opportunity to work with a team of analysts and other developers to improve existing processes and solve key business systems-related problems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Use your coding and problem-solving skills to develop and support web applications in a fast-paced, high-energy agile team environment
    • Develop and review architecture plans
    • Coordinate with others across the organization to build fully-integrated systems
    • Participate in code and security reviews
    • Create unit test plans and develop integration tests
    • Troubleshoot and resolve varying levels of technical issues
    • Design and implement public and internal APIs

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of professional experience as a developer
    • HTML experience
    • Proficiency in a modern software server-side language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
    • Ability to apply functional programming patterns and principles
    • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL and SQL databases
    • Experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST APIs
    • Knowledge of full SDLC and Agile development methodologies, application development life cycle, testing, performance tuning, security, and debugging
    • Strong teamwork and excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to understand new technology concepts quickly and apply them through an evolving, dynamic environment
    • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services such as Amazon S3, SQS, EC2, and Azure services
    • Bachelor’s in information systems, computer science, or related field and/or equivalent relevant work experience

    Recommended Qualifications:

    • Salesforce Apex, Lightning, and SoQL experience
    • Experience with cloud services
    • Experience with AWS: Lambda, ELB, CI, CD, Redis
    • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries
    • Knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries
    • Knowledge of security best practices
    • Proficient in asynchronous and scalable service-oriented architectures
    • Experience with SaaS application back office integration (SAP, Salesforce.com)
    • Experience with version control systems such as Git
