    Responsibilities:

    • Read design specifications to find areas in any given design that are problematic from an international standpoint, and find and prevent problems before they are coded
    • Participate in quality assurance designs and add to test plans (manual checklists and automated), including string/character handling, number handling, date/time/calendar handling, and hard coded strings
    • Ensure manual tests are run and analyzed
    • Ensure testing with pseudo-localized resources
    • Perform weekly checks for all i18n bugs and prioritize them, ensuring key issues have priority for the appropriate iteration

    Requirements

    • 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
    • Demonstrated experience with the following: QA processes, test design strategies; writing test cases; software localization process; ArcGIS; multiple platforms and/or devices (iOS, Android, MacOS, Windows Mobile)
    • Bachelor's in information technology, GIS, computer science, geography, or related field of study
