  • Overview

    Provide vision and leadership while promoting the use of Esri technology to enable customer success and support development and growth into multiple domains. Working closely with industry experts throughout the company, you will provide guidance in defining the type and extent of services required to make Esri’s customers successful. You will also provide insight and support to the community of Esri technical advisors to enable them in delivering value-added service to the customers they support.


    The Esri Enterprise Advantage Program (EEAP) provides customers with strategy and planning support in addition to flexible access to Esri experts and key services that can help their organizations define, implement, operate, and grow their location platform.


    Responsibilities:

    • Align technical capabilities of Esri software solutions and consulting services with customer requirements
    • Align technical capabilities of staff with common technology adoption patterns seen within the industries that Esri supports
    • Continuously innovate and implement best practices for key initiatives based on evolving technology capabilities
    • Coordinate and facilitate regularly recurring training and onboarding sessions for technology specialists
    • Plan and curate content and topics relating to the latest GIS technology trends and implementation patterns for the Esri technical advisor community
    • Lead the development initiatives and maintenance of resources, guidelines, and tools created to support technical advisors
    • Provide leadership, guidance, training, and best practice development and deployment to support the technical advisor community
    • Coordinate and co-lead international technical advisor workshops as designated at Esri conferences (Esri Partner Conference, UC, One Esri Bootcamp) and other selected workshops

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of professional experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Portal for ArcGIS
    • Demonstrated ability to apply technology concepts relating to the application and implementation patterns of GIS within Esri customer and partner networks
    • Knowledge of GIS technology implementation patterns across web, mobile, or on premise platforms in support of multiple industries/user communities
    • Proven ability to develop productive, strong relationships with colleagues, partners, customers, and management to meet targeted objectives
    • Ability to successfully create, lead, and coordinate the development of multiple activities to support broader initiatives
    • Proficiency utilizing collaboration tools such as Professional Services Automation, SharePoint, Salesforce, and/or other business management/reporting systems
    • An appreciation for technology and willingness to learn high-level concepts
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, time management, presentation, and writing skills
    • Proactive, self-motivated, agile, and team-oriented
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in GIS, computer science, IST, or related field 

    Recommended Qualifications:

    • Experience working with customers in a technology service-oriented environment
    • Experience preparing, reviewing, and presenting high quality proposals, business metrics, and reports
    • Demonstrated experience performing technical delivery/coordination or consulting
    • Practical experience in the design, development, implementation, and/or administration of ArcGIS solutions or equivalent technology
