We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who will spearhead activities associated with our partnership with SAP to continually deliver value-added offerings and services which optimally leverage the ArcGIS platform. In this role, you will work with teams from across Esri, SAP, partners, and customers around the world to increase the awareness, adoption, and sales of Esri technology and services. Success is measured by customer satisfaction, health of our partnership, and annual sales of Esri products and services.

Ideal candidates have experience in articulating the value of integrating ArcGIS and SAP’s various software solutions to support common business use cases including asset management, supply chain optimization, field operations, and big data analytics. Although not a technical role, this position does require the candidate to maintain a creditable knowledge of ArcGIS and how it integrates with SAP’s various offerings.


This is a hands-on role where leading and executing programs both as an individual contributor and as a member of cross-functional teams are vital. The position will be based in Redlands, CA or Berwyn, PA.


  • Engage, educate, and enable sales teams in both organizations on the advantages and benefits of integrating SAP and Esri technology into new and existing customers
  • Evangelize common customer use cases and important market dynamics which exemplify the value of our joint business partnership and highlight the value of our integration and interoperability
  • Define the roadmap and the required processes and resources to implement new partnership offerings
  • Develop and deploy new partner offers with a compelling value proposition and implement high impact partner associated marketing programs and sales support materials
  • Establish and foster partnerships with SAP services partners that help customers deploy integrated SAP/Esri platform solutions
  • Be the champion for the alliance team by communicating with partner teams, internal sales teams, and SAP’s sales teams through speaking engagements and publications


  • Proven ability to develop an annual strategic plan for solution offerings and market execution with projected increase in revenue
  • High level of collaboration and teaming skills to motivate and inspire the sales team
  • Excellent presentation, whiteboarding, and negotiation skills including good listening, probing, and qualification abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Ability to be flexible and operate in a changing market environment
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% as required
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in GIS, technology, IT, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Prior technical background with integrating ArcGIS with SAP systems
