More information about this job

At the Esri R&D Center Zurich, we develop cutting-edge technologies for 3D mapping and urban planning. Our products include the 3D software CityEngine, which is used in award-winning film productions (Blade Runner 2049, Zootopia) and urban design (by HOK, Foster+Partners), and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript which is used for creating interactive 3D maps by city administrations (San Francisco, Zurich, Dubai, Singapore) and organizations around the world (United Nations, National Geographic).

The Esri R&D Center Zurich grew out of an ETH spin-off company called Procedural and most of its founders are still on board. It has since become the best of both worlds: still agile and fast like a startup, but the stability and reach of a big corporation.

We are a team of around 40 people consisting of software developers and product engineers. About 50% are ETH university graduates, 20% have a PhD (mostly in computer graphics), 20% are female, and all of us are super nice, smart, and efficient. We use modern methods to develop software, have impressive test automation setups, live a great DevOps culture, and even publish tier-1 research papers now and then. Check us out on Instagram!

Join our exceptional team as developer evangelist and drive the adoption of our powerful JavaScript 3D mapping API.
