As a member of our documentation team, ensure our writers observe all recognized conventions. You will work with copy for a variety of uses, including help systems, web pages, and educational materials, by proofreading, making content recommendations, and providing overall quality assurance.



  • Proofread content of various projects prior to printing and production
  • Edit web pages that contain user assistance documentation
  • Validate detailed technical information and applicable acronyms
  • Ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation as well as smoothly composed syntax
  • Validate that content follows established guidelines, company standards, and prescribed format
  • Suggest reorganizing, recommend changes, and offer constructive critiques
  • Track changes effectively and maintain accurate versioning records 
  • Create and manage the internal authoring style guide


  • Prior experience copy editing projects with varying degrees of complexity, size, and type
  • Understanding of basic design styles and layout standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
  • Extremely detail oriented and have excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
  • Possess a strong command of the English language
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate status to peers and leadership
  • Bachelor's in English, journalism, or related field 

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of copy editing experience with background in proofreading
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, DITA, and GitHub content
