We’re seeking a talented and ambitious developer to perform creative, groundbreaking work on a small team of highly motivated professionals.



  • Develop responsive web applications and UI modules in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Work closely with software developers, product engineers, UX/UI designers, and story tellers in a highly interactive and creative environment
  • Implement innovative and intuitive user experiences
  • Solve technical challenges efficiently and effectively
  • Identify and leverage the latest technology and methodology
  • Document functionalities, processes, and best practices to support the growing community of story map authors



  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years as a software engineer, web developer, GIS developer, or a closely related occupation
  • Demonstrated experience with designing and developmental solutions, jQuery, Bootstrap, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, cartography, and spatial analysis
  • Bachelor's in computer science, computer engineering, geography, or a related field of study (employer will accept 3 or 4 year degrees)
