In this role, you will help take our services to the next level by providing analysis of business requirements and assisting in the design and operational support of over 1,000 database environments on premise and in cloud environments.   • Provide production support and implementation of high availability with AlwaysOn Availability Groups, failover clustering, replications, mirroring, and log shipping
  • Perform disaster recovery setups in different geographic regions using SQL Server
  • Provide advanced performance optimization and troubleshooting of custom applications
  • Troubleshoot performance problems, fine tuning of databases, and index analysis
  • Automate tasks using Powershell
  • Create and troubleshoot SSRS reports
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot primary database storage structures and objects
  • Optimize performance of SQL Server for integration with other software
  • Provide after hours support for multiple production SQL Server environments
  • Facilitate advanced backup and recovery techniques, security databases
  • Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation
  • Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases



  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience in a related occupation
  • Demonstrated experience with the following: Data Protection Manager (DPM), Red Gate, SQL Litespeed, TOAD, and Oracle SQL Developer Commvault
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related field of study (master’s in computer science or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation also accepted)
