Overview

Want to be involved in testing, releasing, and certifying a GIS software system that enables our users to apply intelligent online maps and apps to support the work of businesses, governments, and communities worldwide? We’re looking for skilled software test engineers and analysts who have what it takes to perform quality assurance testing and manage the release of one of the world’s most sophisticated GIS software systems. Starting day one you will participate in the release of a software system that runs on desktops, mobile devices, enterprise class servers, and in the cloud.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation processes/test systems and tools to assess product quality and release readiness
  • Utilize the latest innovative test technologies to improve product test strategy
  • Work with the product architecture/design teams to derive release testing requirements throughout the development cycle
  • Design, create, and execute automated and manual tests as needed
  • Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or software QA experience
  • Demonstrated experience with C/C++, Java, software development process, QA processes, commercial test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and platforms (Microsoft Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or a related field of study
