Overview

Leverage your team building and management experience to lead a team of training sales consultants who are responsible for selling training services to Esri customers. You’ll also have the opportunity to use your consultative sales experience to work with strategic customers on their training needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain basic knowledge of each instructor-led course by reviewing and exhibiting a general understanding of the overall direction of the curriculum
  • Discuss sales strategy, sales coaching, opportunity management, and client support issues with team members
  • Work with training sales manager on strategic direction of offerings
  • Coordinate with operational managers to resolve potential concerns with training content, delivery, or operations
  • Participate in regional office software sales meetings to advocate for training sales solutions
  • Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and provide guidance and coaching on professional growth and performance goals; approve staff timesheets, vacation requests, and travel requests
  • Onboard new team members and recommend training resources for existing staff
  • Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 2+ years of consultative selling experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Remote management experience
  • Proven experience with staff development, mentoring/coaching, and team building
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in geoscience, management, computer science, or related field

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Understanding of GIS and knowledge of Esri software
