Overview

Use your previous experience to oversee commercial lease analysis, construction budget tracking, property budget formation, financial performance analysis, various account reconciliations, and ad-hoc reporting. You may be appointed as a lead on a project or other ongoing basis as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lease analysis for new and renewal proposals
  • CAM calculations and analysis
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Prepare, analyze, and file property tax returns
  • Construction budget reporting and analysis
  • Manage COI compliance
  • Review monthly property managers' reconciliation statements and calculations, monitoring budget variances; work directly with property managers to resolve issues
  • Analyze and present monthly budget to actual variance analysis
  • Overall control of original lease documentation and maintenance of master lease files

Requirements

  • 5+ years of finance and/or accounting experience
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work independently, managing priorities with little supervision
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s in accounting, business, or related field

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Commercial lease management experience
  • Supervision or project coordination responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access
  • Familiarity with a lease/property management system
