    As member of the Resource Management Office, the Workforce Coordinator is first and foremost a team player who works across different functional and technical groups seamlessly. This individual is a detail oriented, self-starter who thrives on being a part of the business and can connect the talent of staff to the requirements of projects.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Work collaboratively with Project and Line Managers to:

     

    Satisfy the needs of our customers by

    • Effectively and efficiently coordinating engagement staffing by gaining a knowledge of Esri’s consulting capabilities and related technologies. Includes learning Esri’s PSA systems, as well as a detailed understanding of the our services engagement principles, requirements, and methodologies
    • Facilitating Resource Staffing & Interlock status meetings
    • Fulfilling project staffing requests to ensure the right staff assignments are coordinated within effective timeframes
    • Supporting workload balancing, prioritization, resource scheduling, and integration of resources into multiple projects to maintain optimal utilization
    • Monitor weekly resource reporting on future staffing needs, availability (or bench) reporting, variance reports, and similar metrics

    Develop our people by

    • Identifying skill gaps and requirements to drive internal staff training and development plans
    • Identifying step-up opportunities within projects that allow staff to grow the skills taught among courses and job shadowing

    Build the core capabilities of our practice by

    • Sustaining a collective awareness and adoption of resource management best practices
    • Analyzing data from standard reporting process to develop specialized reports on resource needs, staffing conflicts, and over allocations
    • Reviewing and recommending modifications to internal processes as needed for project control, operations review, and Professional Services support

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in resource management or project management in a complex, ERP environment
    • Experience working with a progressive and evolving technology services organization
    • Ability to present ideas, verbally and in writing, in a convincing and logical manner. Listens well and collaborate effectively.
    • Ability to balance priorities with sound judgement in a constantly evolving business environment
    • Familiarity with Professional Services Automation systems such as Kimble, Salesforce, SAP, KeyedIn, and Financial Force
    • US Citizenship and ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance
    • Bachelor's or Masters in Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems or similar field

    Recommended Requirements

    • Be a Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP)
    • Certificate associated with Human Capital Management (HCM), Change Management, or Project Management
